Social Media: Smash Hit Kickboxing

CHALLENGE

 

Smash Hit Kickboxing grew a lively customer base through referrals and deeply discounted Groupon offers. Two years in, owner Ken Levy was looking for a way to build loyalty among existing customers and draw in new customers at the full retail price of his services.

SOLUTION

 

I created a strategy for their Facebook page and developed a Pinterest page to extend customer camaraderie outside of the studio. Posts focused on educating, entertaining and inspiring his audience to keep up their good work at Smash Hit Kickboxing. Images and videos from classes encouraged sharing and discussion.

RESULTS

 

  • Facebook engagement increased 230%
  • Facebook reach increased 2100%
  • Class attendance increased by 10%

Customers began to ask questions, check in on social media, tag themselves in pictures, and share funny updates with their friends. More customers brought guests to class. Some classes became so highly attended that customers had to double up on the heavy bags.
